This authentic AMG exhaust by Sebring is for the W124 E-Class, specifically the W124.030 with the 3.0-liter M103 inline-six engine produced between 1985 through 1992. The exhaust features AMG part numbers and NOS AMG packaging. Dual pipes lead from the two-piece exhaust headers that end into the secondary box with the original flange clamps still intact. This authentic premerger AMG Sebring forward exhaust piece is now offered as new old stock from the seller in Sweden and worldwide shipping is available at the buyer's expense.
The AMG Sebring exhaust has stampings visible on the underside showing original part numbers. Part numbers: 124 VSD 4 AMG which coincides with the provided AMG TÜV diagram in the gallery. The original parts sticker on the exhaust reads numbers: Sebring Auspuff 855381 Mercedes 300 Vorschelldampfer.
Fitment is designed for the W124.030 E-Class, fitted with the 3.0-liter M103 inline-six engine produced between 1985 through 1992. The paperwork shows this exhaust was most likely manufactured around 1986 and is TÜV approved. This exhaust appears to be installed without catalytic converters as the exhaust bends up and over the passenger side engine mount where the catalytic converters would have sat and bolts directly to the exhaust headers.
The overall condition is very good with a few small spots of surface level corrosion that can be removed with a wire brush prior to install. Also included are the flange clamps and some of the original AMG packaging since this is a new old stock item. German TÜV paperwork can be seen in the gallery below for this rare forward exhaust piece for a M103 engine.

We see a few Sebring exhausts on the site, but we have not had this piece offered to bidders before. If you are curious about how rare this exhaust is, go back through all of the W124 AMGs we’ve sold on the site and notice none have had this forward Sebring exhaust piece. This appears to bolt directly to the exhaust headers, deleting the primary catalytic converter meaning a lot more power out of your M103 engine. It is also a pretty early premerger item as it’s hard to find any sort of bolt on upgrades for a M103 engine. This is incredibly exciting to see auctioned off and while we realize it’s rare, I don’t think we fully understand just how rare it actually is. The TÜV paperwork in the gallery below gives great insight on the exhaust piece as this is an otherwise pretty unknown period correct modification made by Sebring. Who knows if another one of these will ever show up again in NOS condition.

@Kolja Hi, the only information I have regarding this part in what's on the TUV papers (also located in attached images). I am not a mechanical expert on these cars so I am not 100% sure. Maybe someone else that knows can help answer this query. Thanks@AMGJDM Hi, this part is compatible with 3.0L M103. That's the information I have. ThanksThe system can only be operated without a lambda probe, right? Will this fit a M104 3.4 AMG sedan 1991 🙃🙏@jonnaim13 Hi, yes that's correct. Thanks for your question.@Wendall Hi, unfortunately I can't guarantee that it would fit the 300TE model. Maybe with some modifications it might but if someone else knows for sure feel free to comment. ThanksWill this only fit a w124 with a m103 engine?$50 bid placed by @Happygolucky
Anyone know if this would hook up decently to a 300TE? It's a '92, so its an M103, and the pipe immediately prior to the muffler is starting to corrode. Figure this could be a cool upgrade, but fitment is an unknown.
