This 2005 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG was sold new in California and remained registered there through 2023 when it moved to Florida. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2026 and has added approximately 500 miles of the 102k original miles shown. Finished in Pewter Silver Metallic (723) over Exclusive AMG Charcoal Leather (581), power is provided by a 6.0-liter bi-turbo V12 paired with a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Features include original AMG Cromodora two-piece wheels, Keyless-Go, heated and ventilated multicontour front seats, an electronic trunk closer, a Bose surround sound system, COMAND with Navigation, an electric rear rollerblind, and much more. The included Carfax report shows 27 service history records which indicate regular, on-schedule services. More recently, an engine-out service was performed to reseal the engine and turbos. The selling dealer has included scans of all the records accompanying the car and included them in the gallery. This CL65 is offered for sale by the selling dealer with the original tool kit, spare tire, factory literature, a car cover, 3-keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in Pewter Silver Metallic (723) and features AMG styling including a sculpted front and rear bumper, side skirts and quad chrome AMG exhaust tips. Exterior features include bi-xenon headlamps, a heated windshield washer system, a power-closing trunk and a glass sunroof. Factory "V12 biturbo" badging is exclusive to the CL65 and present on each front fender. The selling dealer notes the front bumper received a repaint under prior ownership. Minor damage was reported to the front in 2020.
The factory staggered 19” AMG twin-spoke two-piece alloy wheels wrapped in Continental tires measuring 245/40 front and 275/35 rear. The tires show 2022 date codes. Original AMG 8-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers are painted silver with AMG lettering and are mounted with two-piece ventilated discs. Center caps mounted show the AMG crest.
The cabin is trimmed in Exclusive AMG Charcoal Leather (581) with double-stitched leather covering the dashboard, center console, and doors. Burl Walnut wood trim accents the interior along with a lighter contrasting grey alcantara headliner. Both front seats are heated and ventilated and feature dynamic multicontour seatbacks. Interior amenities include a power rear window blind, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Bose surround sound system, COMAND infotainment with navigation, power folding rear headrests, a 6-disc CD changer, and Keyless-Go.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 220mph speedometer with a floating needle alongside a 7k-rpm tachometer, fuel level indicator and coolant temperature gauge. A configurable digital display sits in the center and is accompanied on either side by digital displays for the outside temperature and a digital clock. The digital odometer reads just over 102k miles.
This CL65 is powered by an AMG-tuned 6.0-liter biturbo V12 which was hand assembled and signed by the builder. The car is factory rated at 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. The included Carfax report shows 27 service history records which indicate regular, on-schedule services. More recently, an engine-out service was performed to reseal the engine and turbos. The selling dealer has included scans of all the records accompanying the car and included them in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows linear mileage updates from new along with previous registrations. This CL65 is offered for sale by the selling dealer with the original tool kit, spare tire, factory literature, a car cover, 3-keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

@MercedesDad Looks like in 2023 they were replacedOh yeah, and the coil packs, when was the last time they were replaced? After daily driving bi-turbo V12s for the past six years and well over 100K miles, I can honestly say these are some of the most sublime cars Mercedes-Benz ever produced, both from a performance and comfort standpoint. Even 20 years later, they still deliver effortless, silly waves of torque and refinement that makes 98% modern AMGs feel like over-caffeinated laptops with fake exhaust tips and plastic, vent-less vents. That said, these cars are absolutely labors of love. Ownership is best suited for someone who either enjoys wrenching themselves or has a trustworthy independent Mercedes specialist on speed dial, because maintenance costs can exceed the value of the car with the same enthusiasm politicians burn through taxpayers' money. But honestly… who cares? You can still plant your foot and absolutely vaporize most modern traffic in a 20-year-old leather-lined missile, while getting a massage and listening to Mozart through double-pane glass. It’s gloriously stupid in the best possible way. That kind of power not enough for you? Then RENNtech is happy to turn the dial from “executive express” to “highly irresponsible ballistic event” for relatively reasonable money. This particular car appears to have been genuinely loved. A $7K engine-out reseal followed by another $7K stereo upgrade (!!) tells me someone cared deeply about keeping this car right rather than simply surviving ownership. One question: Did the engine-out reseal include the oil cooler assembly reseal and replacement of the oil separator/PCV valves? Maybe I missed it in the invoices, but I don’t recall seeing those. Some of these hiding inside the “V” are usually the automotive equivalent of “while you’re in there…” because getting back to them later requires the labor budget of a minor NASA program. I LOVE IT.@SilverArrow63 Zero issues at this time, those items were addressed. Thank youHello. Beautiful! Any issues with ABC, air lines for doors and seats? Coil pack?
