This 2006 Mercedes-Benz CL600 Sport was first sold and registered in California where it remained with the first owner under dealer service through 2007. It remained registered in California through 2017 with the second owner until it moved to Texas with the 3rd. Subsequent registrations are noted in Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Detailed service entries are noted in the Carfax report, the majority of which include dealer service visits. The car is finished in Black (040) over Black/Anthracite Exclusive (571) leather and is powered by a bi-turbocharged 5.5-liter V12 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Most notably, this car wears the rarer AMG Sport Package and 19” staggered AMG Cromodora wheels off a similar year model CL65 AMG. Other notable equipment includes Active Body Control, a glass sunroof, power rear headrests, heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, automatic climate control, a power trunk, and OEM COMAND infotainment. In preparation for the sale, the CL received a safety inspection and an oil service consisting of oil and a filter with the last service occurring just 5k miles prior. Now showing 39k original miles, this CL600 is offered on consignment by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, service records dating back to 2019, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title. Please note a small amount remains on a lien attached to the car, it will be satisfied at purchase.
The car is finished in Black (040) and, exclusive to the Sport package, features sculpted bumpers and side skirts from AMG as well as xenon headlights with washers, a glass sunroof, and twin exhaust outlets. The Carfax report shows no history of accidents or other damage and the paint is noted to be original in great condition with rock chips and light imperfections on the nose noted to be in line with a 39k miles example.
Factory 2-piece 19″ AMG Cromodora wheels wear Michelin tires measuring 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear with 2019 and 2023 date codes respectively displayed. The faces of the wheels are finished in grey paint and wear OEM center caps.
The cabin is trimmed in Black/Anthracite Exclusive (571) leather with matching carpets, and burled walnut root veneer accents the center stack and door panels. Amenities include heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear sun shade, power rear headrests, and COMAND infotainment. Detailed photos of the cabin are shown in the gallery.
A multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 39k miles from new, approximately 11k having been added by the current owner.
The bi-turbocharged 5.5-liter M275 V12 was factory-rated at 493 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque and sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. Records from 2019 to present are included in the sale with detailed Carfax entries shown prior to 2019. In preparation for the sale, the CL received a safety inspection and an oil service consisting of oil and a filter with the last service occurring just 5k miles prior
The Carfax report also indicates a clean history free from accidents or damage and shows linear mileage updates. Now showing 39k original miles, this CL600 is offered on consignment by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, service records dating back to 2019, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The seller has included the following video:
When it comes to big-body coupes, the pillarless CL-class (aka S-class coupe) is always among the best in the business. From a value perspective, we can’t think of another competing vehicle that we’d rather spend the money on. The M275 V12 was a proverbial locomotive of an engine with torque for days low in the revs. To add to the allure of this CL, it's finished in a timelss color and is sure to stand the test of time against new examples and modern classics alike. Many of the examples we see today are higher mileage meaning this CL has only begun its journey. Whether it’s destined for a well-curated collection or a couple hundred thousand miles of glorious use, this CL600 is the one for the job.

Congrats on this beautiful coupe Enjoy@Hennessy1414 Sorry for the misspelling@Hennesy1414 I wouldn’t be so sure about that. It sold today for more than the last two times on BaT over seven years ago. This was a very good example! Congrats to buyer. I was definitely interested but ended up buying something else on BaT yesterday.Well fought and won, @pashkatheboss. We'll be in touch!$25,500 bid placed by @pashkatheboss

Black on black last year on the correct wheels. Seeing how the CL65 trajectory is going, these will certainly ride that car's coat tails. Really pretty thing.$22,250 bid placed by @pashkatheboss

We're happy to store the car for 7 business days post-sale in our climate controlled showroom, free of charge. Longer storage options are available and we can also assist with transport arrangements.@Takeflight The V12 will always reign supreme. Not to mention this spec is about as perfect as it gets with the AMG sport pack and 65 wheels.@Takeflight Thanks for your comment - we completely agree. There's something especially elegant and almost coachbuilt-looking about this generation CL, especially around the rear glass. It's a great piece of design and an epic drive as well. These have aged beautifully. I bet these will always be desirable with the V12.$21,250 bid placed by @pashkatheboss

@ForzaCarCompany Thank you. I was wondering if they had been changed but apparently are the original ones.@Static50 Thanks for your question. Those are the dates the parts were manufactured. This is a 2006 model year car, but it left the production line in September 2005 (see pic #138), so it would make sense that all the original components on the car were produced before September 2005. I hope that clears things up.@ForzaCarCompany I’m confused by your answer concerning coil packs. If the car was originally sold in 2006, what do the date codes mean on the parts manufactured in 2005?Greatly appreciatedI was recently asked about the production date codes on the coil packs and ignition module - here's what we've got. Ignition module: 05W11, 11th week of 2005 Driver's side coil pack: 05W15, 15th week of 2005 Passenger's side coil pack: 05W13, 13th week of 2005$12,000 bid placed by @Shark07747

@rkilmon Yes, once we're paid we'll handle all that.@ForzaCarCompany oh, so you will cover the payoff of the title? If so, that's great.@rkilmon I've mentioned this in an earlier comment - I won't share the exact amount but the amount owed is well under the value of the car (actually less than the current bid). The winning bidder will pay Forza Car Company the sale price of the vehicle, and we will handle the payoff logistics with the credit union.@ForzaCarCompany thank you for the reply. can you pls state the amount owed to clear the title?@rkilmon The current owner took out a loan when he purchased the car a couple years ago, and a small amount of money is still owed on it. I hope that answers your question! Why is there a lien on the title?@Static50 I appreciate that comment - the owner and I took that into consideration too. He's an MBCA member and is sympathetic to these cars' needs.Just to be clear, I commented on a noise I thought I heard. I can’t be sure but if it is that part, kudos to the seller/consigner to offer to buy the part. It will probably be rebuilt, which is fine. Good luck!@ForzaCarCompany Ok Thank you Appreciate the quick response@Shark07747 Absolutely. Once the winning bidder completes the payment, the payoff amount will be sent to the credit union and the title will be released. From there it will be reassigned to the new owner and FedEx'd to them, just like any other deal. It just adds that extra step.@ForzaCarCompany Thank you for the quick response Just to confirm the lien will be satisfied before transfer of title for a clean title Thank you@Shark07747 Good morning, thank you for your questions! I've been in communication with the car's owner, and he kindly offered to purchase the part and include it with the sale. If the winning bidder would like it installed prior to taking delivery, Forza Car Co. can make arrangements to have it installed at their expense. The lien is a simple car loan through a local credit union and the amount owed is well below the value of the car.Good morning Could you tell me what type of Lien is on the title Title Status: Clean Pennsylvania w/ lien Greatly appreciatedGood evening Would your company replace that damper Prior to a sale Thank you@ForzaCarCompany Right. It didn’t seem to affect the functioning of the ABC at the time, but it was an issue that needed replacing and when replaced the noise was gone. Thanks for your prompt reply.@Static50 Good afternoon, thank you for your question and for that insight! It's interesting you mention it - I've definitely noticed it in other cars, which just like this one, appeared to have fully functioning ABC systems with no faults. Still, your point is well taken. We do not have service records relating to ABC servicing, and the car is on its original coil packs to our knowledge.Very nice. A couple of things; when driving I heard a kind of a whirring/whining noise. I’ve owned seven V12 Mercedes and that noise in three of the other I owned came from a worn out pulsation damper. Are there any records regarding servicing the ABC? It certainly is a known Achilles issue on this generation. Also any records of changing the coil packs? Thank you for your input and good luck!Good afternoon MB Market viewers and bidders! We're very happy to be offering this CL600 on behalf of a good friend, especially since the last car we sold on the MB Market was a C140 600SEC, it seemed fitting. Please take the time to watch the video which includes a demonstration of the ABC adjustable ride height towards the end. One thing to note is the driver's door soft close does not appear to function, however the passenger door soft close is functional alongside all the other vacuum items. This is a gorgeous car to drive - it was tempting to keep it for myself. There is no better combo of design, power, and road-trip-ability for the money. It's a legendary grand tourer that deserves a big trip this summer. We'll be available to answer any questions as quickly as we can. Don't hesitate to drop us a line to discuss the car directly as well!$10,000 bid placed by @Shark07747
